Types Of Repurpsoing
I want you to note for repurposing, now this is Speed Money Repurposing that there are two types of repurposing products. I told you there were two types of species, there’s active and passive. You’ve got to actively be involved like in written word and video. Passive is audio, you can just passively listen, right?
There are two types of repurposing that you should be very familiar with. There is the from type, what you repurpose from and there’s the into type, what you repurpose into.
- FROM is the original source you’re repurposing from.
- INTO is the repurposing destiny of what is being determined to be repurposed into.
To me this is not linear it’s spatial. The from is like a hub, the from is the original message. It can be written, it can be audio and it can be video, but that is the hub in a hub and spoke analogy like a bicycle wheel, it’s the hub.
Emanating from this hub are the different spokes and those are the different into repurposing strategies, because you’re repurposing them into the wheel and the wheel is the market.
You have a message. You have media sources, which are the repurposing strategies those are spokes. Then the wheel itself with a tire on it, hopefully, on the bicycle wheel, that’s the market.
The from part, the message is from who? The message is from you and it starts with a specific source. It could start as a book and many people do start it as a book. It could start as a teleseminar, an audio recording, a DVD or a PDF report. It could start in multiple different ways, but what it starts from is going to determine how fast you repurpose into others.
Since this is called Speed Money Repurposing I’m going to declare that the fastest and easiest way to repurpose is to repurpose FROM audio INTO written and video.
Written can be digital, it can be non-digital, it can be a billboard, it can be anything, but it’s written, it’s being read whereas video is being seen, it’s a moving picture.
Video I’m also going to make it as a storyboard, if they’re still pictures I’m going to call that video as well. It’s a mental video, but you can have still pictures and that’s going to be in the video category.
Audio, what is the best type of audio to repurpose from? It’s not just audio as a strategy or audio as a species of information product, but what is the best tactic of the audio strategy, because you have three strategies, written, audio and video, right?
If audio is the best strategy to repurpose from, what tactic, what type of audio is the best from to go from? Here’s my declaration to you, teleseminars. Teleseminar audio is the fastest, easiest, rapidest and speediest way to repurpose your content in all the other forms.
You can thread more spokes through that hub in the middle of the wheel, which has no purpose.
A hub has no purpose, by the way, unless it’s threaded with spokes and the spokes have to be connected to the wheel, which is ultimately trued, the wheel is a true wheel and, it’s moving and revolving on a true-basis.
You have this little truing key that’s closest to the rim and there’s a little nipple there that you true with the spoke. Each spoke is strengthened and when you strengthen it in a certain way where all the spokes have a certain tension to it then you have a true wheel.
It’s a great metaphor for the perfect message to market match where the original message is the hub and the spokes are all the different media or mediums and those media sources lead to the wheel, which is the market.
