Teleseminars
Teleseminars and I’ll tell you why. This is my feeling why I believe it is. See how robust the answer to this question is? It’s very important that you start with this, because everything else I’m going to tell you is going to come from a teleseminar.
Why teleseminar audio, why not another type of audio?
You can do other audio. You can do written, you can do video, but it’s not as fast. If you want speed money, do it through teleseminar, because chances are with a teleseminar, even if there were two people listening you’re going to prepare for that call.
If there’s one person listening or if there’s no one listening I’ve prepared for the call. I’ve been on many calls where no one was listening, but it was a teleseminar so I prepared for it.
Why did I prepare? To avoid embarrassment and humiliation.
Could it be that the process or the tendency to avoid humiliation, not to look back, could that be the motivating factor to create world-class content?
Absolutely, so even if you’re afraid of being humiliated look at that as a way to create world-class content, because it is for me. I want to avoid humiliation. I want to be prepared, so that’s why I’d prepare for teleseminars more than I would prepare going into a studio.
If I go into a studio and record audio content it’s still audio, but what am I doing? I’m doing retakes, so I typically treat an audio or a studio time as a teleseminar time. I go in there prepared with notes that I read I don’t just do it by the seat of my pants.
If you’ve ever seen movies, how many takes does it take to do one scene? Hundreds, in some cases almost thousands. With a teleseminar you’ve got one take and whatever mistake you make people hear it, especially when it’s live.
A live teleseminar is the best audio format to repurpose from.
