How Do I Repurpose Content Into An eBook?

How To Repurpose Content Into An eBook

You take a live teleseminar, you repurpose it by having it transcribed and you edit it.

Let’s assume all these repurposing strategies are starting with an audio teleseminar that’s live.  All of these are starting from there, so I’m going to go over these repurposing tactics, but all of these different tactics start from an audio teleseminar.

They could start from other ways, they can start with a book if you wanted or a video, it’s just more work, it takes more time.  If something takes more work and more time that to me is less productive.  I want to be more productive, so I want to have leverage.

You put it into a PDF format or some type of EXE eBook maker that’s available through Ebook Generator or you can just put it in a simple PDF that is not as secure.  (Security is not important with an eBook in my view)  Then that becomes a multi-page eBook that is digitally delivered to fellow human beings that’s how you repurpose content for an eBook.

Ebook content is miraculous, because people can forward it, especially if they’re PDFs they can forward it and read it at all times.

An eBook can be forwarded, reprinted, the pages come through the printer and now it’s physical.  That’s where the reader or the audience is repurposing that digital download or that PDF into a physical transcript, but it’s going to be read, so you’re going from audio to written.

How do you repurpose content for an eBook?

Have a teleseminar, record it, have it transcribed, edit it, spruce it up, enhance it, put some imagery on there and you have a world-class eBook.

You can write a 40 to 50 page eBook, maybe sometimes even 60 depending on how fast you talk, with one-60 to 70 minute teleseminar.

We speak at about 50 pages an hour.  We can write about four to five pages an hour with out hand.  When I write with my mouth we write about 40 to 50 sometimes 60 pages an hour, depending on how spaced the pages are and how wordy it is.
